Born with an interest in travel, Max has spent the past fifty years travelling the world seeking new and exciting experiences for vacationers everywhere.
Following time at the University of Winnipeg, and an active interest in national student organisations, he started The Great Canadian Travel Company in 1981. This business grew until he sold it in 2014, and started to concentrate full-time in consultancy.
His global experience, and activities in all sectors of the distributive side of the travel industry brings a strong market-awareness approach to projects. Having spent time working with governments in the establishment and implementation of public tourism policy in Manitoba, his experience of both the public and private sectors offers a nuanced approach to his work with his clients.
Max has a particular interest in product development and the marketing of niche destinations and programs.
